Clermont Wedding | Kirsty & Lindsay at the Weir

Kirsty and Lindsay’s Clermont wedding was one of my favourites this year. With vows beside the weir, gum trees overhead and Kirsty arriving on her horse, there was plenty to love about this afternoon.

They said their vows on the bank beneath the gum trees, just as the sun started to drop. And Kirsty arrived on her horse—as you do! Such a lovely personal touch, and I loved her dress too. The whole setting suited them beautifully.

Kirsty and Lindsay are such genuine, lovely people, and it was easy to capture moments with these two. You could see how much they adore each other in the little looks and smiles throughout the afternoon.

Ten minutes of beautiful light

After the ceremony, we had maybe ten minutes for portraits before the light disappeared. Sometimes a short window means you focus on what matters: the two people in front of you, how they are together, and the light you have left. These two made that part very easy.

Reception at Blair Athol Recreation Hall

After the ceremony and our quick round of portraits, it was on to Blair Athol Recreation Hall for the reception.

Lindsay was a little nervous about the first dance, but they looked amazing together. Some of my favourite shots from the day came from those few minutes on the dance floor.

From Kirsty arriving on horseback to their first dance, there were so many moments I loved photographing. Looking back through their images, it’s those personal touches that make their day stand out.

Congratulations, Kirsty and Lindsay. Thank you for having me there to capture your day 🤍
